Drawings from the dove loft

I had 2 drawing sessions inside a dove loft, which is essentially a shed with a grid of very thin shelves on which the doves sit. Although the doves were constantly moving and fussing, it was easy to capture a part of one of them and then return to the drawing to finish it at a later stage. Here are some of the 50 Drawings I did, this was drawing for information, to try and understand the complexity of how feathers grow on a bird and understand their order and structure. I bought a range of papers from Paperchase on Tottenham Court Road and drawing materials such as pens and inks from L.Cornelisson.

  2. Its really great to see this come together! I remember you breifly talking about this project in London at that design lecture and here it is finished, really awsome. Pascal, any idea if some of these drawings will be for sale or auctioned to public?
